We are Green Party members who are getting organised – within the party, and within the wider left.
Greens Organise began with an open letter and 200-person launch at Green Party conference in September 2024, calling for the Green Party to realise both its responsibility and potential by stepping up to the historic opportunity to become the electoral voice of a popular movement.
Since ratifying our Constitution and launching formal membership in July 2025, we now have an elected Steering Group and over a thousand paid-up members. As of now we remain a volunteer-run organisation.
We seek to build the left within the party (and the party within the left); to provide political education; model bolder comms; broaden the party’s political strategy and to increase democratic participation and activism among the membership.
Steering Group
The Greens Organise Steering Group is a committee of 12 people, elected annually from among GO’s Members. At least five elected members of the Steering Group must be women or non-binary, and at least two must be from Global Majority backgrounds.
Together, the Steering Group members are responsible for running GO on a day-to-day basis. They make key decisions about campaigns, manage GO’s operations and communications, make financial decisions and more.

Get involved
You can join Greens Organise as a member from £1 a month (or for free if this is a barrier). If you are not (yet) a member of the Green Party, you can also become a Supporter.
