2 x Freelance Organisers (2 months duration)

Terms: 4 days (28 hours) p/w, early Nov – Dec 2025

Rate: £20 p/h

Location: Remote, with some travel subject to availability

We have funding available for two freelancers each working 28 hours a week for 8 weeks. Note that these are interim positions while we prepare to recruit a Greens Organise staff member.

With the Green Party growing by over 60% in the last month and surging to over 125,000 members, we have launched our ‘Now We GO Big’ campaign to turn new party joiners into activists and organisers.

We are recruiting two freelance organisers for two months to:

  • run a phonebanking operation, onboarding and overseeing campaign volunteers
  • support the development and implementation of a member engagement funnel for our Your Green Role tool
  • assist in other tasks as required including responding to inquiries, member communications and coordinating volunteers for our political education programme
  • help to build a network of skilled GO organisers across England and Wales.

We’re looking for experienced and energetic organisers who can motivate people, use Action Network (or similar tools) and are aligned with the aims of Greens Organise. The organisers will report to the elected GO Steering Group, and will need to have flexibility to sometimes work during the evening when volunteers are available. We are unable to provide a laptop or phone.

Application deadline – 9am 26th October

Interviews will be held on 28th, 29th and 30th October.

We acknowledge that people from a range of backgrounds are under-represented in our movement and we’re committed to challenging this. We are particularly keen to receive applications from you if you live in the North, you identify as a person of colour / member of the global majority; are disabled; a carer; LGBTQIA+; working class or from a working class background.

If you have any questions, or there is anything we can do to assist you in your application process, please email jobs@greensorganise.uk.
