Organising to win big
Organising to win big
Greens Organise has energised the Green Party. But to take it to the next level, we need you to join.
We want more high quality comms, and a full political education programme. Better infrastructure and more resources, so we can scale up our organising.
Regular, in-person meet-ups in every region of England and Wales. And accountable leadership, with an elected Steering Group and paid up, voting members.
We know there’s a bigger audience out there for the Greens – and a popular movement to be built.
If you’re not a Green Party member yet, you can still support our work and attend meetings by becoming a supporter.

Our open letter, ‘The Manchester Manifesto’, to Green Party members, published on the eve of Conference in September 2024.
The Manchester Manifesto
This Labour Government came to power on a loveless landslide – the lowest vote share in centuries, offering little for crumbling public services, our broken democracy and the climate catastrophe. And yet, the shoots of an organised, popular opposition are visible.
An emboldened trade union movement, proving the value of solidarity to a new generation of workers. Defiant and diverse demonstrations against racist and Islamophobic attacks, anti-migrant policies, and our governments’ complicity in genocide in Palestine. New strands of ecological consciousness, from river pollution and right to roam campaigns to an internationalist and decolonial climate justice movement.
In the face of so much yearning for more, this Government promises less. As it fails to address the underlying decay of the UK’s economy and public sphere, the only answer is a movement from the ground up. One that can mobilise millions of frustrated voters who have lost faith in the political system entirely, that can take on the far right – not pander to it.
As Green Party members, we see a historic opportunity and responsibility to become the principal electoral voice of that movement. Responding to the public’s deep-seated desire for an alternative and delivering on our founding purpose as a party – to change the system, not the policies within it – go hand-in-hand.
We believe in the power of a clear, bold message that speaks directly to the public’s demand for real change, mobilises a diverse working class, and secures a broad mandate for an internationalist, anti-capitalist, and ecologically transformative agenda.
As members, we want to play our role in that journey. We want to see:
- An expanded political strategy, setting the national agenda and creating the political space for a step change in electoral ambition.
- A clear rejection of the electoral assimilation that has weakened Green parties in Europe.
- Strengthened links with the labour, social and environmental movements, so their energy feeds ours and vice versa.
- A firm stand against a rising tide of bigotry; to not tolerate racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, classism, religious intolerance or ableism in our politics and our party.
Change won’t happen by itself. We will need fresh voices, disciplined organising, and a spirit of solidarity. If you are a member, and you share our ambition, join to help us drive the party forward.
If you’re not yet in the Green Party, now is the time to join and organise with us.
Join us in this crucial effort.
In solidarity,
Greens Organise
